Vanessa Minnillo and singer Nick Lachey have decided for their engagement on Thursday. Lachey and Minnillo dated for almost three years before breaking up in June 2009.
Lachey and Minnillo said in a joint statement that "We are excited and incredibly happy about our engagement and we look forward to a wonderful future together,"
Their engagement ring cost is about $125,000 which is a platinum, Asscher cut diamond with trapezoids on the side from designer Bader & Garrin.
However Jessica Simpson his ex-wife is not happy about Nick and Vanessa’s engagement. One source told "this is a very difficult time for Jessica but she wants to be happy for Nick."
Nick was the love of her life then, man, and he was her first, so she will always have a very special place in her heart for him. She is deeply saddened. Nick knows what it’s like to lose someone that you love and wasn’t going to let it happen again.
Minnillo will turns 30 on Tuesday.

Miley Cyrus Is Moving To Wrong Way
Miley Cyrus the 17-year-old disney star was spotted in a tank top surrounded by men and clutching a Corona at Kapital dance club in Madrid.
In Spain drinking is restricted for under 17. But Spanish authorities said "people as young as 16 are cool to consume 'certain' beverages in Madrid."
The head of the International Institute for Alcohol Awareness, James E. Copple, believes Miley is showing other wrong way by engaging in "risky behavior associated with underage alcohol consumption."
Copple added exclusively that, "The young people that see her as a role model could mimic the same behavior and as a consequence will go out and become intoxicated, putting their safety at risk."
According to the International Institute for Alcohol Awareness, "85% of young people who drink, drink to get intoxicated."
Miley Cyrus: upcoming movie 'So Undercover'
Miley Cyrus who will turn 18 later this month is eagerly waiting for her upcoming movie 'So Undercover' where she joins a college sorority. The movie will be directed by Tom Vaughan and his producing partner Steven Pearl.
The movie will begin production next month. In the movie Miley will play the role as a private investigator hired by the FBI to go undercover as a college gal and infiltrate a sorority.
Nigel Sinclair the producer said "There will be a touch of real danger too when she goes undercover. We have a sharp, funny, accessible and commercial script… that is a perfect match for her comic talents".
In the movie there is a top-secret twist. So just wait for the movie........
Hilary Duff: Playing A Mean Girl Named Meghan
Hilary Duff, the special guest star will be playing a mean girl named Meghan who is cruel enough to make the women of our beloved study group regress right back to high school antics.
Hilary may be sweet as can be, but she says getting the chance to get a little mean on Community has been great.
“I haven't really done anything where I got to be a b---- before, so it was exciting,” said Hilary, who plays Meghan, queen bee of a vicious popular pack abusing the "Community" cast until Abed (Danny Pudi) infiltrates them and shakes them to their core.
Hilary says that she has been taking guest-starring roles, such as the one on "Community" and "Gossip Girl" and her starring role in the TV movie "Beauty and the Briefcase," because they satisfy her desire to act, while giving her time to visit her husband Mike Comrie, who is playing hockey for Pittsburgh this season.
"The one thing that's nice about TV is that you have three weeks on, one week off most of the time. So I actually think it would work because we're used to going two to three weeks without seeing each other. But, I would only do it if it was something that I was really committed to."

Gemma Arterton was given the Ultimate Film Actress accolade at the ceremony at London’s Banqueting House in Whitehall. Mark Salling landed the Ultimate Hottie honour and rapper Dizzee Rascal took home the Man of the Year award.
According to media, Dizzee said, "There's a lot of hotties here, Kelly Brook told me she was single, there's a lot going on. The rapper has posed on the red carpet with the actress, who also praised Dizzee for his dapper appearance.
She said, "He does look good. He's very handsome too and very sweet and charming"

Kim Kardashian the reality star is dreaming to record an album. Last week she was seen in a New York recording studio. She want to expand her media empire.
Kim is recording an album produced by The-Dream who has produced hits for Beyonce and RihannaRihanna. Kim and her management believe that The-Dream can turn her into a platinum selling pop star as Kim is fed up with only ever being referred to as a 'reality TV star'.
According to a media the recording session said that "Kim's got a really good voice" but of course the same thing was also said about socialite turned singer Paris Hilton and we all know how that turned out.
With a fair voice able to become a good voice with modern auto-tuning devices perhaps Ms Kardashian's got a real chance at making it i the music world. She won't at least lack for publicity.
Lindsay Lohan Wants Link Back Old Friends
Lindsay Lohan the troubled actress is trying to link back with her old friends. Currently she is in a court-ordered rehabilitation stay at the Betty Ford Clinic in California until early January 2011.
The actress is said to be using her two-hour weekly internet usage time to try and make amends with former pals. According to TMZ, maximum people Lindsay has been getting back in touch with are those she cut out of her life when they tried to tell her she had a problem with excessive drinking and drug taking.
Last week, pals at the clinic claimed Lindsay was finding her time there hard and was feeling lonely. A source said: "At the moment she is finding it tough being in rehab and she misses her friends and family.
"Lindsay has not made any great friends inside the clinic, she is just trying to keep her head down and get on with things."
Her current trip to rehab is her fifth attempt at getting clean and sober and follows her breaking the terms of her probation for a 2007 driving under the influence (DUI) case.
In September, she tested positive for two drugs in her system, leading to her new stay in rehab.
However, she avoided an expected jail term for the relapse, and was instead told to stay in rehab until early next year.
