Taylor Swift doesn't mind living on her own -- she can sing to herself that way! The 20-year-old country star says there are plenty of things to keep you occupied while living solo.
The musician, who is rumored to be dating actor Jake Gyllenhaal, confessed: “Living alone you can do so many fantastic things. You can walk around and have conversations with yourself and, like, sing your thoughts … I think I'm the only one who does that."
But the country star, who has a fish pond in her sitting room and a conservatory in the shape of a birdcage at her apartment in Nashville, Tennessee, claims she doesn’t expect to have any wild parties at her swanky pad.
She said: “I have the deeply ingrained fear of getting into trouble and being sent to the principal's office of life.”
And the clean-living beauty says the best thing about turning 21 next month isn’t that she can legally drink alcohol – but that she will be allowed to go to more concerts.
She added t Chelsea Handler: "I get to go to the concerts now that my friends used to leave me at home for.”

Kate Gosselin has still not met Jon Gosselin’s girlfriend of six months Ellen Ross, RadarOnline.com can reveal.While Ellen actively helps Jon out when he has his eight kids by his former wife, Kate, the two women have still never actually spoken face to face.
After Jon and Kate’s marriage collapsed, Jon enjoyed a string of ill-fated romances with the likes of Hailey Glassman, Kate Major and Morgan Christie but he finally seems to have found stability with pretty 24-year-old Pennsylvania government employee, Ellen Ross.
Even so, Kate is still keeping her distance from her ex-husband’s new love interest. A source revealed: “Ellen and Kate have still not met face to face. But Kate doesn’t have any issues with her kids being around Ellen as long as they are happy and safe.
“Since he started dating Ellen, Jon has become more level headed and his family is the priority now. “Jon and Ellen are still going strong and despite what many people may think, she regards him as a good friend and boyfriend too.”
Jon and Kate have agreed to call a truce over the holiday season by splitting-up time with their eight children.And although they have a long way to go, it seems that their relationship is getting better as time goes on.
The source told RadarOnline.com: "Jon and Kate have come up with an amicable arrangement for Thanksgiving and the holiday season. “They have not reached the stage where they could spend the actual day together but they are putting their kids first.”
Last month, Jon used his Twitter account to express his feelings following his attempt to block his kids from appearing on TLC’s Kate Plus 8 in court failed.
He wrote: “I am acutely aware of the mistakes I made in 2009 and I am ashamed of the choices I made.“I have apologized to Kate, my family, and to my friends. Through counseling, I have learned to own my actions. My goal is to move forward in a positive direction.

A source told "They've been on a few dates," But she's taking things slow and focusing on spending as much time as possible with her two-year-old son Max.
"She's not looking to jump into a relationship right now," the source added.
The two were last spotted together on Nov. 5 at LA's Soho House with Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. As they left the restaurant, Rutler reportedly hid under a blanket in the back seat of Aguilera's car, which was driven by Madden.
Last month, Aguilera filed for divorce from husband Jordan Bratman. In the documents, she cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

Taylor Swift the 20-year-old star is ready to hit the road next year. She announced that she will kick off an 87-date Speak Now world tour in Singapore on February.
Taylor will play shows throughout Asia and Europe during the first quarter of 2011. She will play 87 shows in 19 countries spanning four continents on a world tour.The tour will include multiple costume changes and will show off Swift's musicianship, as she plans to play several instruments during the show.
"I'm so excited to go back out on tour again in 2011!" Swift said in a statement. "The Fearless Tour was so much fun and even more unforgettable than I ever imagined, and I can't wait to get back out and play my new music from Speak Now! The fans have been so amazing, and I'm thrilled to play in new cities around the world and meet even more of my fans in 2011!"
Swift told before Speak Now dropped that she was especially excited to take the new album out on the road. "Lots, lots of touring, very extensive tour planned," Swift revealed. "That's also gonna be a worldwide thing, so I'm just completely stoked out of my mind to play the new songs live."

Helena Bonham Carter the British actress says she is taking parenting classes to be a better mom.
Helena said about being a parent, "I need to be a mom," she said recently in an interview with Eonline. "It's much harder being a mom than an actress...You know, no one taught me what to do".
Explaining the classes, Helena said: "They're teaching me some really interesting things, like it's not your job to know everything ... You've got to get them to think for themselves."
