Don 2 Which Showed an excellent jump on Sunday continues to go strong on Monday as well. This Clearly Shows that people are defying the rules of box office till now.
No Movie Has Ever Shown Such a Jump on Sunday Where there are mixed reviews on the First 2 Days. The Effect of Mixed Reviews Was Slightly Felt on Saturday as Collections Could not jump everywhere and jump was minimal. But, SRK Effect Dominated the Mixed Reviews thing and People Went back to Theatres on Sunday and Continue on Monday as Well.
The Occupancies For the Early Morning Shows Was 50% On An Average All Over India. It Was Upto 70-80% in Chandigarh, Delhi City & Mumbai. Some More Cities Like Kanpur, Lucknow & Kolkatta are also extraordinary.
The Better News is at Some Places Like Eros One Jangpura Dist, DT Cinemas Vasant Kunj & Shalimar Bagh Delhi, PVR Ambience Mall Gurgaon, PVR Begaluru, etc. The Evening Shows Are Already Sold Out. If its not full at places, over 30-50% Advance Bookings have been already Done. 3D Shows are Doing Even more Better.
The Monday is Very Likely to perform Extraordinarily. And We are going to see a Good Figure. An Accurate Early Estimate Can be Made Only After Afternoon Shows. But as of Now its very probable that Don 2 Will Collect 8 crores plus on Monday.
On Sunday Don 2 Third Day box Office Collections Were a Small Turnover. Since, Most of the Reviews are good the film was expected to show bigger jumps.
But The Jump Was not so Big. It Collected around 16 cr on its 3rd Day according to early estimates. Although this is a good figure but could have been better.
The Collections are not so high as the single screens in Central India have shown falls or remained steady. Hence, the First Weekend Total is Nearly 46 crores.

This is a Good Figure and Similar or Better Jump is Very Much Likely on Sunday Which Will Surely Boost The Collections of the Film.
On Saturday Don 2 second day box office collections showed a decent jump from Friday. The film could not set any record on day 1.
But Don 2 is sure to be one of the top grossers of the year. After a 13.75 Cr first day, it collected 15-15.25 Cr on Saturday.
The occupancies rose all over India. Delhi, Mumbai and Chandigarh multiplexes were nearly 100% for all morning and afternoon shows. The single screens in West Bengal are extremely excellent.
The two day total is 29 Crores approx. If it shows a good jump on Sunday, which i am sure it will, then the first weekend collections will come around 48 Crores which is the third best figure of the year after Bodyguard and Ra.One.
First Day Box Office Collections of Don 2 Came Slightly Under Our Expectations. Due the The Comparitively Poor Performance at Single Screens in Later Shows.
The Net Collections Came at 13.75 cr for Friday Box Office. It is the Fourth Highest Opening Day in History Of Box Office.
The Film Will Surely see a Good jump on Saturday as the Review is Good and People are Appreciating the Film.
The FIlm is Performing Well in Delhi City, Mumbai, Chandigarh, West Bengal and Pune. Other Parts are Also Good. The Collections Were Weak in TN/Kerala and the Regional versions Could Collect only 70 Lakhs.
On Friday first day collection of Don 2 is approximately around 17 to 19 crore as early eastimated. The movie played good role in the morning.
Around 60% of theatres was housefull for the movie. The Film Has Picked up in later shows and people have housefulled evening shows already today.
