Lisa Blount, the Oscar-winning actress, producer and best known for her role in 1982's "An Officer and a Gentleman," this week found dead in her Arkansas home.
On wednesday October 26 she was was found dead in her Arkansas home. It discovered by her mother. Blount's mother told to police that the Blount was suffering from a condition similar to multiple sclerosis for 17 years, and recently which she had complained of back and neck pain. She was 53.
On that Blount's husband, Ray McKinnon, the actor and director was out of town. But till now no cause of death has been discovered. So Police told there is no sign of foul play. Last time she used her phone Monday afternoon, then she told a friend that she wasn't feeling well, as police reported.
Blount was born in July 1, in 1957, in Fayetteville, Arkansas and raised in Jacksonville. In 2001, for producing "The Accountant," she won a best live action short film Oscar in which McKinnon had starred and directed. She also produced and starred in 2007's Randy and the Mob and 2004's Chrystal, both created by actor/writer/director McKinnon, whom she married in 1998.
She had started film career at the age of 17.
